Johannesburg - The five joggers who died last Saturday when a driver crashed into them have been laid to rest in four separate funeral services, the Sunday Times reported.
Moroese Mokoatsi, 34, Reneilwe Lesenyeho, 31, Given Mills, 30, Isaac Tlale, 37, and Nomvula Dumako, 35, were killed in the crash.
A sixth runner, Khanyiswa Stengile, was the only survivor of the accident and has undergone surgery.
Dumako and Mokoatsi were buried in a joint service in Welkom in the Free State, Lesenyeho was buried in Pretoria, while Mills and Tlale were buried in Limpopo and North West, the paper reported.
Scores of mourners attended the funerals as family and friends paid tribute to them.
the driver of the car, Sibusiso Langa, has appeared on five charges of murder, one of attempted murder, and one of driving under the influence in the Midrand Magistrate's Court and was released on R80 000 bail.
