Rustenburg - A domestic worker has been found dead in her employer's farm
house in Kraalhoek, near Rustenburg, North West police said on Wednesday.
The 43-year-old woman was found dead in the lounge on Tuesday by a caretaker
and a gardener, said Lieutenant-Colonel Lesego Metsi.
It was suspected that the shot that killed her was fired through a sliding
door from outside the house. A spent 9mm cartridge was found.
The woman had been left to look after the house when her employers went on
holiday on Friday.
Police had ruled out the possibility that the motive was robbery, because
nothing was stolen from the house.
"All property including vehicles and household valuables and her
cellular phone had not been tampered with," said Metsi.
Investigations were continuing.
