Domestic worker poisons family

Johannesburg - A Springs domestic worker killed her two-month-old son, poisoned her six-year-old daughter and killed herself, East Rand police said on Monday.
Superintendent Andy Pieke said police were called to a home at Bekker Street in Casseldale just before 17:00.
He said they found the body of a 38-year-old woman and that of her infant son. A six-year-old girl was also found and she was rushed to hospital.
Pieke said her condition was not immediately known.
A suicide note was found, he added.
A preliminary investigation concluded that the mother poisoned the two children and herself.
The woman, who was not named, lived in an outbuilding on the premises where she worked as a domestic.
