Double trouble for speedster

Johannesburg - A man wanted in connection with various crimes was arrested after he was caught speeding in Midrand, Johannesburg metro police said on Friday.
Spokesperson Wayne Minnaar said that the man, aged 34, was caught speeding in a Golf vehicle at 01:00 on the N1 North near Olifantsfontein in Midrand.
"He was caught doing 162km/h."
Police also recovered a rifle and two magazines containing 66 rounds of ammunition.
"It was then discovered that he has been wanted for other crimes including armed robbery, car hijacking and pointing a firearm."
He will appear in the Randburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
The car he was driving belongs to a man in Lenasia and a police investigation is underway to establish if there is a criminal link between the two men.
