Drugs worth R1m seized in KZN

Durban - Drugs with a street value of about R1m have been found in a house in Chatsworth, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Wednesday.

"We found 3 120 straws of heroin and 90g of pure heroin in a house in Shallcross, Chatsworth, on Tuesday night," Colonel Jay Naicker said.

Police received information about drugs in a house in Shallcross and launched an operation.

When police entered the house, they found a woman with three children. No arrests were made.

"The drugs will be sent for forensic analysis as part of our investigation," Naicker said.
