Durban man dragged by bus, loses arms

Durban - A Durban man was knocked down by a bus on Tuesday and dragged underneath it, paramedics said.

The accident took place around 13:00.

ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks said both the man's arms had to be amputated after he was dragged for five metres underneath the bus.

The man, in his 40s, was in a critical condition and taken to a nearby hospital, Banks said.

    Man that's rough. No mention of whether it was his fault or the bus driver's though so I don't know if my sympathy is warranted.

    Sad i have a friend who lost his foot when a bus ran over it over ten years he waited for Road accident fund to pay out a pittance,( and the thumbs down person are you calling a taxi ?)
