Durban man killed when car overturns

2012-04-14 16:00
Durban - A man was killed and four others were injured when their car overturned on the M41 in Durban north on Saturday, paramedics said.

It's believed the driver was driving around a bend when he lost control of the car, which then came to a rest on its top, said Netcare911 spokesperson Jeffrey Wicks.

"Paramedics arrived at the scene to find that one man, thought to be in his 20s, had sustained critical injuries and sadly died as a result," said Wicks.

Four other men, who had been thrown from the car, were stabilised at the scene and taken to the Addington State Hospital for further treatment, he said.
