2012-09-03 18:22

Bloemfontein - Twenty people were injured after two buses collided on the N3 about 60km from Warden in the direction of Villiers on Monday afternoon.

Reports indicate that  the two buses were both travelling toward Villiers when one collided into the rear of the other.

One of the buses had Dutch tourists on board.

When Netcare 911 and provincial  paramedics arrived at the scene, they found that 20 people had been injured, some seriously.

The injured were taken to local hospitals.

No mention about Greyhound bus accident Sunday morning after 1am 15 km outside Colesberg. Somewhere is something wrong -if Roadlink was involved it would have been newsworthy - hidden agenda?

    Another example of poor driving.

No mention is made that school kids were in the other bus. Perhaps its because they were Muslim kids or maybe our local lives are not as valuable as that of tourists.

Munir, it seems you are attempting to turn an everyday event (an accident involving humans)into a racist event (the reporter failed to mention every victims religion). The point the report was making was that some of the injured were far from home on holiday. By implication the rest were South African. It is heartsore for every injured person and the person's family when there is an accident. Doesn't matter whether he is Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Buddhist or Atheist. It is time you got real.
