Eastern Cape man held for murder

Johannesburg - A man was arrested in Kareedouw in the Eastern Cape in connection with the stabbing of another man, police said on Monday.

The 23-year-old allegedly had an argument with Masixole Tuse, 29, and stabbed him on Sunday evening, Warrant Officer Gerda Swart said.

"The 23-year-old suspect allegedly stabbed the 29-year-old in his neck and fled from the scene," she said.

Tuse died at the scene.

The man is expected to appear in the Humansdorp Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on a charge of murder.
