Eastern Cape woman kills boyfriend

Port Elizabeth - A woman appeared in the Willowmore Magistrate's Court on Monday for allegedly stabbing her boyfriend to death, Eastern Cape police said.

Chermaine Swart allegedly stabbed Francois Swart on Friday at Baviaanskloof, after an altercation with him, said Warrant Officer Zandisile Nelani.

"The victim ran to a nearby house where he informed the residents that he had been stabbed by the suspect."

The police arrived at the house to find the victim had died from his wounds. Swart was then arrested.

A case of murder is being investigated, and the case was postponed to October 17.
