Farmer killed, dragged behind bakkie

2011-05-01 14:38

Johannesburg - A farmer was murdered and his corpse dragged behind his bakkie outside Ottosdal on Saturday night, North West police said.

"At about 20:00 three suspects entered a 49-year-old farmer's house... They held him at gunpoint while they ransacked the house for money," Brigadier Thulani Ngubane said on Sunday.

"They shot him in the chest, the back, and in the head, then used (the farmer's) bakkie to drag him for about 1.2km before the bakkie rolled."

The farmer's body was still tied to the vehicle when police arrived on the scene.

One of the alleged murderers was arrested at the scene and led police to his two accomplices.

Ngubane said although the brutality of the attack might suggest an "ulterior motive", possibly related to "previous issues with the farmer", he could not confirm whether the suspects were known to the farmer, who lived alone.

"This will all form part of the investigation and it is too early to speculate at the moment."

You guys must be reading parts of article I cannot see. It does not state the race of the farmer or the suspects anywhere.

Time for whites to take up arms and take out the criminal terrs of the ANC - let the whites' Struggle against the criminal, terorist ANC regime and their murder squads begin!

This is full declaration of war. Immediately the police are trying to protect the ANC's rural militia by attempting to shift the blame to the white victim. While this kind of savagery is being perpetrated, the SAcan Police is hunting down pensioners with insignificant collections of hunting paraphernalia - mostly to protect themselves against the ANC's rural militia. This is indeed the primary reason that the police are focussing on disarming the white population - to allow its militia to practice its savage program of ETHNIC CLEANSING. It is now time to approach the United Nations and formally declare war against the ANC.

      Mattewis - 2011-05-03 08:13

Ngubane is a racist piece of tr@sh! So when the attack is incomprehensibly brutal, it suggests "ulterior motive"? Of course it cannot possibly only mean that it was the work of s@vage beasts! How on earth can he speculate this utter BS? But then again, he has the likes of "policemen" like the member who cold-bloodily murdered Jeanette Odendal "serving" on the force, so it is to be expected! Was there also "ulterior motive", Ngubane? Where are the international bodies "watching" over human rights violations/abuses in this country? I presume they've all been disbanded!

      GTFO - 2011-05-03 12:59

@ZAR...and its a war we will surley lose...in a tie before now i actually felt for these farm killings, its obviously already a war...and what do we do...nothing cause we to self absorbed and scared to stand together. im waiting on another article"farmer killed" and you know what i wont feel a thing farmers should know how bad it is, arm yourself take precautions....but nooooo.

@ REDWINE, IF THEY DO NOT STATE THE RACE ITS ALWAYS FARMER = WHITE, KILLERS = BLACK, ALWAYS, BLACK KILLERS DONT KILL BLACK FARMERS... I NEVER READ A STORY LIKE THAT ANYWHERE BEFORE

      Muna - 2011-05-04 00:15

There are good and bad in every race, all you people expressing anger at Black people and complaining about TAX PAYERS MONEY this is the key, if we all stopped paying our taxes. WHAT would happen???

      Muna - 2011-05-04 00:18

The People that were living in South AFrica during the apartheid years are still here and they are still poor or even poorer than before the politicians who were over seas in exile living good lives are here now still living their good lives, do not hate blacks rather hate the poilticians, because when the PAWPAW strikes the proverbial van Julius and his boys wont stay and fight, they will run overseas again with all you stupid TAX payers money.

  • Madelane - 2011-05-01 14:48

Thank you Malema and all those singing 'kill the boer'. Need more convincing?

      Francois - 2011-05-01 15:57

Madelane, I think in fairness, the police must ask the perpetrators if they were inspired by the song. If they confirm, then Malema himself said in court that the singing of the song will be stopped and Gwede said that the elders will keep him in line. Everything in SA is not race based. Then Stoutgat, I was under the impression you were sorting out Emmerson Mnangagwa for us and now you are fooling around on the internet - go do your job for the last white tribe in Africa, ag please man.

      Jason - 2011-05-01 16:18

or maybe it should be kill the retard uneducated Malema is a disgrace to south africa

      Witchbladesa - 2011-05-02 12:17

As much as what I detest that song we had it sung on our farm during a picnic with 2000 Blacks (me being white) and when I approached the one lady she was friendly and they told me that they weren't singing it to be provocative but because they were having a good time. This being said they stopped straight away and we didn't have one insited insident. We can't keep blaming a song it is time we looked a bit further than this. Like the jobs promised these people that haven't materilized or the fact that the ANC offered them free housing, free schooling and they got nothing.

      Podgette - 2011-05-03 10:26

Witchbladesa, if the issues which are causing murder are promised jobs not materialising, free houses, free schooling, etc not given, then why pray tell is it the WHITE farmers being murdered and not the lying thieving politicians??? It is also time that people realise that NOTHING IS FREE!!

      SaintBruce - 2011-05-03 11:18

The strategy of attacking 'soft' targets was conceived long ago in places such as the Patrice Lumumba University in Moscow ( revolutionary training ground)to which many MK were sent and sponsored by lovely nations such as Sweden and Denmark. But I digress - our most prevalent threat to South Africa is simple - FOOd and WATER security. Get those wrong and you don't have a country worth living in. Every farmer lost is a blow to our food security - slowly being destroyed as we lose the skills and future productivity. AA or BEE farming has yet to show its worth. It may be emerging but I doubt it will add value in time. Why are so many African nations peoples to be found here? They fled when these resources dried up! No food, no water = no people. We are already past the limit of what our water supplies can handle. Our food production is dropping so we import another nations high costs and the fuel prices keep going up. Food riots are coming folks - learn to grow your own. The ANC started the farmer attacks in the 70's, they have to take serious action to stop them in an effective way. No more pussy footing around this issue!

  • philemon.daba - 2011-05-01 14:48

      rudebear - 2011-05-01 16:50

Agree with you Hugh. If there were any previous issue why not take it to court. That is the reasonable thing to do.

  • marco - 2011-05-01 14:50

Wow brutal very very ugly to say the least.A horrid way to behave no matter what supposed bad blood existed between the farmer and the murderous thugs. No way to treat any individual like that regardless of what the issue is between you two parties. What a disgrace to South Africa's already wretched image.

Whenever a boer is killed, its always because of labour/wage issues. As if this is some type of justification. When I have a labour dispute I don't kill my boss and drag him behind his car...

      keithy - 2011-05-04 13:52

Are the two thumbs down replies, the 2 animals that helped tie him behind the bakkie?

      frans.visserdsb - 2011-08-26 07:15

Jack... well said. the labour laws in SA is so restrictive, that if you even shout at your worker for doing something stupid which costs you money you end up in front of th CCMA. it is an easy defence - "the farmer abused them, so they killed him." We live in a acountry where the death penalty is not even applied for brutal murder... but it seems that murdering a farmer is ok because he allegedly abused you. please note that we are this year going to be a nett importer of most categories of food, and mealies we are on breakeven. our population is growing rapidly (Thanks Julius for the 'revolutionary breeding'call) and our food production declining...

I am a Freeman on the land. I burnt my SA ID and birth certificate, I have my own licence plates and I am not liable to any statutes or acts that govern the citizens of SA. I smoke weed when i want to, I carry an unlicenced firearm and police have no juristidction over me. I have esponged all my debt as all currency in SA is illegal fiat currency backed by nothing of value and the whole international banking system is a giant pyramid scheme which has enslaved nearly every individual on the planet due to the simple equation money = debt. All people that carry an identity documents are mearly serfs working hard everyday to pay taxes and to pay off debt which was created out of thin air by the banks. The banks are now in the process of calling all debts and leaving humans who have equal rights of property on the planet with no roofs over their heads. The new world order has already begun. Every country is a business, no more, no less. No goverment produces their own money anymore, it all comes from the private reserve banks which are just offshoots of the US Federal reserve bank. The reserve bank lends money to the goverment with the added charge of interest. Since only the capital exists, interest cannot be paid back without taking out another loan (debt) therefore foreclosures, poverty and unemployment are built into the system so as to create millions of desperate people who will work for nothing and support earth destroying companies. Money was designed to control YOU.

Freeman - You have a wonderful philosophical poit, but practically? You are using electricity, you are using the internet, you are using "their" resources. When you do so, you do so according to "their" rules, which you agree to once you use them. The "universe" has this way of making sure things remain in balance. When you take, but do not give, that balance is disturbed. The universe will extract what it takes to restore its equilibrium. You cannot stand in the way of that. So, how do you keep the universe happy?

"possibly related to previous issues with the farmer" Wow, is that the first thing that pops into this idiot cops head? He makes it sound like that justifies it. These murderers definately got their justification from Malema and the ANC. This kind of brutality is inhuman and deserves the death penalty. The ANC is the root of all evil in SA.

      bobbi.za - 2011-05-01 23:47

or perhaps in the case of some farmers, they started the dragging of people behind bakkies... its relevant because of unsolved cases invling farm labourers

So bobbi, because I have a fight with my boss or anybody else for that matter I can kill him like that? yesterday the server at Pick n Pay refused to give me the special that was advertised. bobbi.za - 2011-06-24 14:16

Farmers need to go on strike, erect a memorial for every farmer killed, and all other activities the ANC carders organize when one of their own die. It is evidence like this that needs to be presented at the hate speech trial of Melema.

      allie - 2011-05-01 15:10

IT`S TIME THE FARMERS TAKE UP ARMS

      Gatvol - 2011-05-01 15:25

I think what is called for are some drastic measures to beef up the security of farmers. In what form or shape this security must be I don't know. It is obvious that police can't be on each farm all of the time.

      Zion - 2011-05-01 15:27

Farmers must just with hold their produce from the market until something concrete has been done. When the nation is starving then something will be done.

      Blip - 2011-05-02 10:45

If farmers hold back their produce it will soon rot and be worthless. Farmers need to earn money or they'll go bankrupt.

  • waine - 2011-05-01 15:03

Here is a good example where this article will ignite Malema reverse hate speech, and who can blame readers? The ANC still think Malema's song is OK to sing, given the crime wave against farmers. Do the ANC and numb-nuts Malema not see that poor uneducated criminal masses may just take him up seriously? -- In a country where farm killings are rife, this song should not be allowed to be sung -- period!

      keithy - 2011-05-04 13:55

It just goes to show how the ANC is actually not interested in what is going on. They are more interested in filling pockets. For the sake of a stupid f...ing song. Get a life! Time to start thinking and doing!!!

In South Africa, Afrikaans is understood by approximately 20 million people and that is a conservative estimate by the CIA factbook. If you cannot or will not understand, then that is your choice. Xhosa and Zulu is the way we say these in English!!! No one calls French Francais when speaking English, because, you language nazi, it is neither correct grammar nor form! Oh and google translate translates Afrikaans, for the semi-literates.

  • Doublepost - 2011-05-01 15:21

I wonder if the equality court will even take not of this case, when ruling on the "Shoot the Boer, Shoot the farmer" case? I am guessing not, since this is obviously just crime by the poor who, through their righteousness, torture, murder and drag their victims (oh sorry, I mean tormentors) bodies for purely entertainment value. If this was done during Apartheid the International community would be calling for our heads, however, since it is an "Evil White Farmer" who obviously did something to provoke these 3 fine gentlemen, no one says a word. A black man is killed by black police in South Africa and everyone is up in arms. And suddenly it is A ok to critique the ANC for wanton police violence. A White women is killed at point blank range after hitting a stationary police vehicle, by a police officer and its the usual nonsense from the crowds. "Bad police, get your act together" blah blah blah. It is now well over 3000 murdered WHITE farmers by bLACK thugs since 1994. The poor bland excuses no longer hold water. It is pure genocide and that is that. If people don't start to take note, farmers will have absolutely no choice but to take matters into their own hands. IT HAS COME TO THAT!!

      Marc - 2011-05-04 14:34

  • Sean - 2011-05-01 15:21

Dont fret people. .Malema and his trusted circle will soon be laid to waste. Good luck indeed. It takes one man who has nothing to lose in this world to take you and your entire government out with a single blow. Once again.. Good luck

  • OMBUD - 2011-05-01 15:22

Scores settled. Both races have been dragged in a bakkie's dust. Can we now elevate the debate of farm murders to a higher level and not simply reduce it to genocide? The matter is complex and relates more to the culture of violent settling of differences in our country rather than one race doing its level best to exterminate the other.

      FreemanEC - 2011-05-01 15:31

These killings are politically motivated. Its simple to see.

      vdmerweas - 2011-05-01 15:52

And when you finally wake up, you and your loved ones are dead in a ditch or being dragged behind a bakkie through your co-sure neighborhood.

      Doublepost - 2011-05-01 16:26

Oh jeez, stick a sock in it you "higher than mighty" prick! This is genocide! The black population increased triple fold under Apartheid! You get that, right? The White population as shrunk by over one quarter since 1994. In 60 years, if current trends persist, there will NOT BE A WHITE POPULATION IN SOUTH AFRICA! You get that, right? If having your entire history, nation, heritage and the very well being of your people being dragged through the mud, murdered and intimidated into leaving the country of your birth, is not genocide. Then nothing is.

      OMBUD - 2011-05-01 17:43

@Doublepost: What credible proof is there that (1) black people are more criminal minded and crime prone than white people, (2) black people as a group have a "majority" desire to get rid of white people and (3) genocide can be proved against the white farming community? Much easier to prove is that all race groups have a high propensity to solve with violent behaviour which eventually may lead to the death of both attacker and victim arguments - be it labour related on a farm or road rage on a highway or taking the law in own hands when dealing with a suspected diamond thief on the diggings. Our focus for understanding such behaviour should thus rather be on addressing the national culture of an easy resort to violence and not much else. Even the nature of comments on this forum many a time smacks of a form of violence such as calling a person a “prick”. It is all so sad!

      Doublepost - 2011-05-01 18:18

Ombud, if Apartheid was a "Crime against humanity" and during the years 1948 to 1990, 7000 blacks were killed through protests and other political violence, 90 % of which was black on black. So, by correlation, well less than 1000 had much to do with "Apartheid or White" themselves. And also another 14000 deaths from 1990 to 1994, which once again was basically ANC vs IFP slaughter. What would you call the deaths of well over 3000 White Farmers since 1994, if not a crime against humanity? That is over 3000 murders, just White farmers mind you, not other Whites as well, in less than 17 years. Compared to less than 1000 during 42 years. You do the maths! Did you not see during the "Shoot the Boer" court case, Professor Christiaan Bezuidenhout gave testimony that White famers or Boers in South Africa are 700 times more likely to be murdered than the World average? 700 times!!?? And OMBUDS, please please let us all ask the ANC for a breakdown on the statistics via race for murder. And while we are at it, may be rape and assault as well. Until then, it is all just hearsay as none of us are privy to that information. You can also check the FBI stats for murder in the United States according to race, just remember that blacks account for 12 % of the population of America and that "White" includes Hispanics, Arabs and Indians. http://bjs.ojp.usdoj.gov/content/homicide/race.cfm There is the site, sorry it is only till 2005.

      Peg-Leg-Sven - 2011-05-01 18:38

@Ombud, here is proof positive for you. In the UK, Black Africans make up less than 5% of the population, but are responsible for 80% of violent crime. It has been acknowledged that they are a race prone to violence and murder. It is a throwback to their Stone-age existence less than 200 years ago.

      Zion - 2011-05-02 09:57

The murders are definitely racially motivated. Our apartheid government(ANC)remains dangerously quiet when these atrocities occur and Seldom comments in any way when it does happen. The old apartheid excuse is the the farmer ill-treated his workers. Time has come for the farmers to do away with much of their work force anyway.

  • Rod - 2011-05-01 15:25

Mandela is no doubt a proud man today. This is his legacy. The fact that he has not said a word to about that fat fool malema tells me he agrees with what comes out of that filthy racist mouth.

      Alibaba - 2011-05-02 12:24

...and that my friend is the crux of this matter. We never hear a word out of "their" mouths to condemn this, only justification or an ominous (approving?) silence. On another thread people are caled all kinds of names for calling Mandela a criminal, but again, his family are involved in exactly the same kind of criminal "business deals" the ANC have become known for and again the silence. All I can make of that is that he condones it.

  • Raymond - 2011-05-01 15:27

What now julius fkcing malema was this a boer you killed . There is a law stating that incitement is a crime . can we start a fund for malema dead or alive ? Civil war would come soon if the whites were not cowards , I am ashamed to say . The court building must be stormed and the three subjected to the same justice or else this just goes on till all whites are killed .

  • KarinWalker - 2011-05-01 15:30

So that's three thousand six hundred AND ONE now.god help us..soon we will have no farmers left . we gonna become another basket case dependent on the West for food aid...

  • Mmoledi - 2011-05-01 15:33

When whites in the country are complaining about their safety as farmers government then seem to turn a blind eye on that, now see what has happened a farmer was murdered and this means to the country another hand producing food for the country is cut, and that will at some stages or time be against as as many blacks when coming to farming are not there and food will then start to be scarce and prices be very high again and again. We know that out of 10 farmers only two are treating their workers badly but that does not condone torturing and brutal killing of them they also deserve the best security in the country and protection like any other citizen. To my fellow white farmers while you can please respect your workers so that they can respect you and love you stop treating them badly as this may also turn on you as time goes on, because people who are killing and disrespecting farmers most of them are their previous employees and now they are maybe revenging themselves. So we urge you farmers also play part in reducing farm killings by respecting your employees and treat them humanly so they will to you, as what goes around comes around if you do not then you are shooting yourself on the leg and made things also difficult for you and the government.Rainbow nation let us respect each other and tolerate each other for the sake of our country and coming generation to can leave in harmony.

      Doublepost - 2011-05-01 15:46

Care to provide any proof to back up your claims? Once again you are succumbing to ANC propaganda. If there were any abuses, proper abuse mind you not a labour dispute, it would be all over the newspapers and the ANC would use White tax money to make sure there would be a once off death penalty just to put that White farmer to death. If you have a problem with the farmer you are working for, report it to the ANC, I dare you! Killing them is never acceptable. Your excuse falls flat on its bum.

      Rapier - 2011-05-01 15:52

We need more of you @Mmoledi - the most balanced view I have read here so far today, for a situation that could explode, out of control, we need to keep cool heads. ONE DAY the ANC will be out, and Justice will prevail.

      Mos - 2011-05-01 15:55

What goes around comes around doesnt mean killing Mmoledi. If i am not happy with my job or if my boss treats me badly,i dont go and kill him.

      Stoutgat - 2011-05-01 16:00

Oh please. Where is your proof? Bring us the names and, more importantly, the CAS SAPD case numbers of cased of worker abuse that have been reported to the cops. But you can't, can you? Because you are spewing your lies here. The end of the Azanian so-called rainbow nation is near; and you know it. We will not tolerate being murdered by you and your cadres forever. The whites' Struggle will begin soon.

      Krolie - 2011-05-01 16:11

@mmoledi. Problem is that no matter what is done by farmers to have a good relationship with their employees, these murders continue to happen. Employees of the farmers are being indoctrinated & intimidated by their own to do what "is needed, required and expected" of them. Malema and his followers, and this includes the president, continue singing about "get my machine gun" and "shoot the boer". They know full well what they are doing and that their un-educated followers will do what is expected from them, FOR THEM, with the excuse that it is just a song, does not mean anything and all that hogwash. The fact that we have read so many postings here of "wait til you (whites) see what happens to us" and suggestions that the blacks will be taking up arms soon, gives an inkling of their mentality. Not all meetings of the ANC and comrades end up in the media for all to read about. How do we know whether these are just "talk" to try and intimidate, or whether there is some truth behind it? Many comments seem to imply trouble, and I for one hope and pray that this is just a lot of BS, but cannot help wondering what lies ahead. Someone has to stand up now and state a case to government on all our (SA citizens) behalf. This is utterly unacceptable that nothing is being done to protect our farmers, and as they say in Afrikaans, Malema moet nou 'n slag in die bek geruk word. Come mr president, do something right for a change. Stand up and be a man if you can!

      Alibaba - 2011-05-02 12:30

Mmoledi, all fine and dandy, but enough is becoming enough now. We have been bending over backwards since 1990 to give this country a chance and believe me we tried, but it's just getting worse while "Unthondo we Sizwe" and his sidekick Juliass keeps on singing. And don't tell me black bosses all treat their white employees well, so it goes both ways.

      moiraine - 2011-05-02 13:57

@mmelodi I hear you to a certain extent, there are many people who are abused in our country. But it is not only farmers who abuse their workers and it is not only whites that abuse their workers. There are many farm murders which are nothing to do with abuse. As you say if 2 out of 10 are treating their workers badly then only 2 out of 10 farm murders can be related to abuse. That means 350 were related to abuse. What caused the other 3150? My friends father lived on a farm in KZN. He had 2 workers in his home, a gardener as well as farm workers. He paid for each child of those workers to attend school, uniforms etc. Each worker was paid a salary and had a house as well as land to grow veggies, have cows whatever they wanted. He paid for the son of his maid to attend University. 3 weeks after his daughters 21st birthday the maids son returned from varsity with his friends, broke into the house, beat and then shot my friends father and ransacked the house. What abuse was he paying back? Fortunately my friends father didnt die, but when he got out of hospital he stopped farming and moved into town. Unfortunately that meant that his workers were out of a job. Okay that was about theft, but by trying to kill him they ensured that he was too scared to stay on and everybody suffered. How does that help us?

      Koos - 2011-05-03 14:27

Doublepost, you can defend this farmers as much as you like but one thing is for sure is that, farmers are worst creatures,i know personally the people who have been abused by this rats farmers, and don't forget that they started the trend of dragging someone behide,do you remember that black guy that was drag behide the bakkie by a farmer? i guess not cos this farmers are innocent and they don't mistreat their workers in your eyes?I'LL SAY IT LOUD FU** This Farmers they can take their racist ass somewhere i don't give a toss, people revenge cos they been mistreated by this rats, let me tell you,i will not starve if this farmers leave,i will be more happy than anything to see the back of this dogs.Farmers treat their workers worse than anything, you people should speak with ex farm workers and current farm workers to realise how bad are this farmers.if i worked for them and they mistreat me as well,i'll go home and come back and shoot dead this evil cu**s,you should ask yourself why majority of people who work as maids and gardners don't go back and kill their ex bosses the answer is cos their are not as mistreated as farm workers,if you work as maid, the bosses are much better, they treat you with respect and dignity, while this farmers think Verwourd or Malan is still in power, they have no respect for a black person, they are ruthless and they find its funny to humilate a black person. I DON'T LIKE THIS CU**S

  • felican - 2011-05-01 15:33

Irrespective of ISSUES NO ONE has the right to be so brutal... ENOUGH IS REALLY ENOUGH - For The sakes of the future of the children - STOP living in the past and wallowing in what was or was not.. History cannot be changed it can only be rebuilt. I wonder if the death penalty was re-introduced how many crimes would indeed cease!??? I have neighbours and friends of all races, colours and creeds and I see within their hearts for the people they are. And respect them for the cultures they are.

  • Slapper - 2011-05-01 15:34

Condolences to the Family and Friends. I wonder what Malema an co are doing now, with their Bulls**t. It does not take much to instigate this type of thing, when the Savages are scrounging. What happens if they are caught and tell the COurts that Malemas song made them do it?

  • Pot Stirrer - 2011-05-01 15:35

    Julius Malema you d!(k!!!

  • Julius - 2011-05-01 15:39

How could this happen with such beautiful peace loving people in this country ? eh Malema !

  • Lennox - 2011-05-01 15:42

Don't these guys get it, by harming the farming community they are in fact harming themselves in the long run!!!!. By slaughtering(yes, that is what is happening) our farmers they are getting rid of the people putting food on their tables, the goverment will have to import more and the prices will go up affecting the poor people the most. One has to grow up in a farming environment to appreciate what a tough life it is, passed down from one generation to the next. No ways can you inherit or buy a piece of ground and start farming with no experience. Its no wonder the Afrikaners implemented "Apartheid" as they were fearful of the "swart gevaar" who are capable of committing these heinous acts of violence.

  • Mos - 2011-05-01 15:44

  • ZAR Minority X - 2011-05-01 16:00

This is full declaration of war. Immediately the police are trying to protect the ANC's rural militia by attempting to shift the blame to the white victim. While this kind of savagery is being perpetrated, the SAcan Police is hunting down pensioners with insignificant collections of hunting paraphernalia - mostly to protect themselves against the ANC's rural militia. This is indeed the primary reason that the police are focussing on disarming the white population - to allow its militia to practice its savage program of ETHNIC CLEANSING. It is now time to approach the United Nations and formally declare war against the ANC.

      Stoutgat - 2011-05-01 16:02

Agreed: 3000 dead farmers = a declaration of war.

      betterness - 2011-05-02 11:12

"Declaration of war...? ethnic cleansing ..? approach UN to declare war on the ANC..?" I have a sis who has been diagnosed with a mental condition, so i think i have the back up to recognise a border-line case ZAR Min X ... Seriously bro, check yourself in for a check up - this paranoia is unwarranted, not to mention inciteful. My deepest condolences to the family. Let us continue to pray for God's Kingdom to come - our only hope and real cause for gladness from this madness

      fozzie - 2011-05-03 13:22

@Stoutgat pray tell, since you have made your declaration with such conviction, what do you really know about war? Fact is that it's very easy to shout the propaganda my friend, but do you have the stomach for that which you proclaim? I am a white male with an extensive military background and I sure as hell don't want war in this country, because everyone will lose. I do dispise the conduct of these criminals and am for the reinstatement of capital punishment, but war is the talk of fools and those who fail woodwork in std 8!

      mozzer - 2011-05-03 14:34

@ betterness If you think doing nothing but praying will resolve this then it is not only your sister with a mental condition. Must be genetic

  • Gavin - 2011-05-01 16:03

Why don't the attackers just take what they want and leave the farmers alone. It is a hate for the people that live on the farm and the attacker thinks he is going to get the farm if he kills the farmer.I wonder what the farms look like that were taken over by magabe.

      Bewildered - 2011-05-01 16:10

Gavin, if their primary objective was robbery, then they would have left without any violence. Therefore logic dictates that they went to the farm to murder.

  • PappaBear - 2011-05-01 16:07
