A 14 year girl, what is wrong with these animals? Hunt them down and hang them. We don't need these oxygen thieves in SA!

      Benn - 2012-04-07 11:40

Do not insult animals. The regime are their accomplices.

Goverment should form a specialist unit to combat farm murders and prevent this murders. Its getting worse.they nt only killing families but also a nation.we need that unit now.my condolences t da family and simphafy t da farmers.

      Zahir - 2012-04-07 11:41

I don't think anc govt wants to stop these farm murders if they did they would have done something about it over the last few years

  • Azande - 2012-04-07 11:28

I think its high time that we mobilize each other and do a public protestation. We must march to Minister Mthethwa. The continuing killing of farmers is taking our country down the drain.

  • Paul Maema - 2012-04-07 11:30

something must be done quickly.goverment must arm farmers nd foot the bill for their protection.

  • richard.lemmer1 - 2012-04-07 11:33

@sboniswa . You are the only one talking race ...... Seems you have more information.. You are the one admitting the murderers are black ! Get a life you @ss !

This type of murder, on a daily basis, only happens in Africa. The ONLY course of action to change this blatent murder in South Africa is for total worldwide exposure, very difficult, the truth is hiden and lied about and denied. A video on what is happening, not only to the Farmers and their families but the "normal person living in homes and walking in streets" has to be exposed and put onto "you tube" and "facebook", the slaughter of innocent people and families and in particular "farmers", has to stop. If I could, I would but I am unable, can someone out there please get down to this? Expose these vile excuses of human beings for what they are, around the world, in full force, and NOW. Thanks! THIS NEEDS THE SAME EXPOSURE AS KONY.

This is very sad and especially when a young person's life is taken and a young boy is left to fend for himself. I find the comments below more destructive that good to be honest. I am tired of people hiding behind their alias's on the web. This country needs everyone to stand together to rid ourselves of these senseless killings, the politicians and religious leaders are not going to. It is up to you and me to ensure that our families and communities are safe, by working together for a better future.

I`m not sure of the statistics but it would n`t surprise me if more farmers are being killed than rhinos. Yet the government et al is doing more for the rhinos or am I mistaken? Nevertheless I don`t get it! Would n`t it be appropriate if there was a statistic for gov. officials etc. killed?

      Steven Trollip - 2012-04-07 12:00

@Rob.Ek is geneig om saam jou te stem.

Guys please, these killings have nothing to do the general black population. Yes, the culprits are black. It is disturbing to read about "lets take revenge against black people". This is not gonna make anything better. It will just make things worse than they already are. Minister Mthethwa should account for these unfortunate killings.

      Koos - 2012-04-07 12:12

Azande, You live in a dream world if you think the sncESTORS will do something about it. The time is not far away when things are going to turn real nasty. The black population kmow who these criminals are but they don't do anything to eradicate these people.

      malcolm.molver - 2012-04-07 12:18

Azande, they never suggested taking revenge against black people per se. They only suggested retaliating against these criminals themselves. Even though they are black there is a difference. Innocent blacks will not be harmed.

  • VRalph - 2012-04-07 12:07

this is unacceptable...why the killings and what have these folks done...NO

  • Durbanite88 - 2012-04-07 12:09

I am a black person, this story makes me sad, very sad. I can imagine the agony the ambushed farmer and his family must have gone through. Why would the tsotsis not spare them the precious life..I say tsotsis bcos this type of killing is consistent with the farm attacks by bloodthirsty tsostsis! Police must do a thorough and round the clock investigation, apprehend the bloody right ppl and extract the motive with whatever means available and then 10 times life sentence should be imposed, without possibly of parole. Yerrr these jerks really make me sick.

  • eddiebant - 2012-04-07 12:44

All farmers accept it now you are the soft target. They will come for you.Do something;a small dog in the house as alarm, alarms or systems for the family to warn each other, let every one carry a handgun, ducks on each corner, movement activators etc. Be prepared, there's an unofficial war against you.

  • RemoteMedic - 2012-04-07 13:52

Third farm killing since the start of April! This should be highlighted higher than Rhino poaching. Why can't the military patrol the farms again as well?

      Eugene Walters - 2012-04-07 20:00

To apply the military would defeat the object of who is killing the white fermers I would be arrested if I say anything more

  • Blessed Ndlovu Maratuza - 2012-04-07 17:51

I'm really sorry this family was killed, Im really sorry to the relatives who've lost their loved ones. We dnt knw if its blacks or whites who did this, bt onbehalf of all black im sorry 4 all white farmers killed by blacks.
