Father and daughter survive plane crash
Johannesburg - A man and his daughter survived after their light aircraft crashed in a field between Parys and Kroonstad, paramedics said on Sunday.
Paramedics arrived on the scene on Sunday morning to find that a 40-year-old man sustained minor injuries to his leg while his 13-year old daughter was treated on site for a possible back injury, said ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak.
The man declined to go to hospital.
His daughter was sent to the Potchefstroom Mediclinic for further treatment.
The cause of the crash is to be investigated.
