Foul-mouthed cop cuffed

Johannesburg - An "aggressive and drunk" policeman apparently called a female metro police official a "fucking bitch", among other things, when she tried to arrest him on Saturday night.
A member of the public recorded a sound clip during the incident and sent it to the crime-fighting network eblockwatch. On the clip the man can clearly be heard saying, among other things: "I've been in this business for 20 years... fuck you, bitch!"
The policeman was driving in an unmarked official vehicle in the south of Johannesburg on Saturday night with the emergency lights on.
According to Justi Sasser, 33, he was standing in the street outside his house just after 20:00 when he saw the vehicle approaching.
"He was driving very, very slowly with the emergency lights on. I motioned for him to stop, because I thought something was wrong. The man got out - he was so drunk that he immediately collapsed on the road."
Sasser called the metro police official who boards with him so she could come and arrest him. He also called eblockwatch's "black box" service, where a call is automatically recorded to serve as evidence later.
Very drunk
According to Sasser, the metro cop was quickly at the scene.
"But the man was so aggressive that she had to handcuff him. When she looked in his car, she saw emergency lights, police radio equipment and even several dockets lying in the car."
According to him, the policeman kept swearing and called the metro cop a "fucking coolie" among other things.
"He was really very drunk. He boasted that he'd arrested more than 1 000 people.
"He later became threatening and also said: 'You can kiss my black ass'."
The metro cop was finally able to get the policeman into a car and take him to the metro police station, where a blood sample was taken to measure his blood alcohol level.
Katlego Mogale, Gauteng police spokesperson, said the police official has been charged with drunken and reckless or negligent driving. He is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on Monday.
