Johannesburg - An undisclosed amount of money and a firearm were stolen in a robbery at the N1 City Mall in Goodwood, Cape Town, on Thursday morning, police said.
Two security guards were leaving the mall around 10:15 after withdrawing cash for a client when they were accosted by four men, said Captain Frederick van Wyk.
The men, all armed with handguns, held the guards up and took the cashbox and a firearm.
No shots were fired and no one was injured, Van Wyk said.
The robbers fled in a white Nissan 1400 bakkie. No arrests had been made by Thursday afternoon.
