2012-02-24 17:16

Johannesburg - Police were investigating an attempted murder after a person opened fire on a Gautrain bus in Midrand on Friday, Eyewitness News reported.

"I can confirm that at around 14:00 one of our buses was shot at. No one was injured, but the bus was slightly damaged," Bombela Concession Company spokesperson Errol Braithwaite said.

"This is of great concern to us."

Braithwaite called on authorities to find those behind the shooting.

Police were following up on information from witnesses and it was business as usual at the Midrand station.

Attempted Murder? No. Really? What else did our clever SAPS think someone is trying to do when they shoot at a bus... Some alternative form of graffiti?

Me thinks it could have something to do with the firing of the drivers. Last week the 3 robbers threatened to set the bus alight with the occupants. I wondered how long it would take for this to start happening.

So ..... Do we pay For etags (forced I might add) or use the gaubus and get shot at...... And generally speaking -yip shooting at someone would be attempted murder.

Too many crims in the SAPS to find any outside of it.
