Girl raped for love of music

Rustenburg - A North West teenager has testified how a man lured her out of her flat and raped her by inviting her to listen to music.
The 17-year-old girl told Rustenburg regional court on Tuesday that she didn't know him and had never seen him before, but couldn't resist his invitation because she loved music.
She said earlier in the day two boys aged about 10 had told her a certain man was calling her, but she ignored them.
She and her nine-year-old sister were alone at their parent's flat in Geelhout Park, Rustenburg, at the time.
Then, at about midnight, the man knocked at her door and invited her to collect some CDs and then go with him to listen to them at friend's flat, in the same building.
She left her sister behind and said that once she was in the man's flat, she was dragged to his room and raped.
She said she returned home without the CD he had allegedly promised to lend her.
The suspect, aged 20, denied raping her and said the girl willingly had sex with him.
The trial was postponed to September 12 for the doctor who examined the girl to testify.
The suspect is out on bail.
