Girlfriend killed after argument

Port Elizabeth - A man has been arrested in connection with the murder of his girlfriend in Willowvale, in the Eastern Cape, police said on Sunday. Captain Jackson Manatha said the 30-year-old man was arrested on Saturday after being questioned by police. The man then took police to the area the 26-year-old woman's decomposed body was found.

"It is believed the couple had an argument a week ago before the man stabbed the woman to death," said Manatha.

He said the man was expected to appear in the Willowvale Magistrate's Court on Monday on a charge of murder.
