Girl's bizarre murder shocks

Pretoria - A young girl has been found naked, on her knees with her hands tied behind her back, and with her head in a black refuse bag.
She was found on Thursday morning next to a busy dirt road in Gerardville, in the Hennops River Valley between Pretoria and Hartbeespoort Dam.
Superintendent Faan Steynberg, commander of Erasmia police station said it appeared the girl had been strangled.
He said that, at this stage, part of the inquiry was focusing on a possible link to occult activity.
Nothing was found on the girl that could identify her.
Steynberg said a post-mortem, scheduled for Friday, would be held to establish the cause and time of death, her age, and (possibly) her identity.
A passer-by contacted Erasmia police station about the body at about 07:00.
Steynberg said it could not be established exactly when her body had been dumped next to the road, but it probably had been between 22:30 on Wednesday and 07:00 on Thursday.
Shattered by gruesome find
"It appears that the place where she was found was not where she was killed," said Steynberg.
"There weren't really signs of a struggle. It appeared that the girl had just been dumped next to the road."
Pierre Rossouw, 24, who has been using the road every day for the past eight months, told Beeld newspaper about finding the body.
"I am shattered. I'm in tears," he said.
"One just doesn't expect to get up in the morning, set off for work and then find a girl in a black bag next to the road.?
"I have a little sister. Just think if it was your sister who was found like that."
