Guard hurt in Cape Town robbery

Cape Town - A security guard was injured during an armed robbery at Makro in Montague Gardens, Cape Town, it was reported on Saturday.

The Weekend Argus reported that four men entered the store on Friday afternoon and hit the guard over the head with a gun.

They took an undisclosed amount of money from four cash registers and fled in an old Honda Ballade.
No arrests were made.

      Hopefully they wont arrest this guard for doing his duties like they arrested the Goodman Gallery security officer.

    I was right there. The robbers were laughing and smiling at the bystanders as they were driving off. Security shouted at the guys at the gate to close the gate but they were truly clueless and the car just sped through the entrance. It was an old green Honda Balade. Makro seriously needs to get their security sorted.
