Headless body found in Limpopo

2011-12-08 16:17
Polokwane - A teenager's headless body was found floating in the Nkambako dam in the Maweni area of Letsitele on Wednesday, Limpopo police said.

The partially decomposed body was seen by a passer-by at about 10:00, said Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi.

The body was removed from the water and it was found that the head, private parts and the palms of both hands were missing.

It appeared as if the body had been in the water for some time, said Mulaudzi.

The youth was believed to be between 15- and 17-years-old and was wearing a black T-shirt and a cloth usually worn by those attending training with traditional healers.
