Heat warning for SA

Johannesburg - The central parts of the country will be very hot this week, the SA Weather Service warned on Monday.
"Very hot temperatures, leading to heatwave conditions, are expected over the North West province, northern Free State and Gordonia from Monday until Friday, including Gauteng and the Limpopo province from Tuesday," said the weather bureau.
Parts of the coast will also be very uncomfortable.
"Hot and humid conditions, leading to very high levels of discomfort, are expected over the north-eastern parts of KwaZulu-Natal."
In Kimberley in the Northern Cape, temperatures were expected to reach 37°C and Upington 38°C on Monday.
The North West was expected to be "very hot in places, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated thundershowers in the west".
Potchefstroom was predicted to reach 32°C on Monday going up to 35°C later in the week, and Vryburg 36°C reaching 39°C by Thursday.
The Free State would be "very hot in the west, otherwise partly cloudy and hot with isolated thundershowers except in the extreme north".
Bloemfontein was predicted to reach 33°C on Monday.
Gauteng was expected to be partly cloudy and hot, with a "very dangerous" UVB index.
Johannesburg would have a high of 31°C on Monday and Pretoria was expected to go up to 34°C.
