Helicopter crashes near Cape Town

Johannesburg - A helicopter crashed at Strand near Cape Town on Friday, critically injuring the two people who were on board, the Civil Aviation Authority said.

The Robinson R44 helicopter crashed, just before 15:00 at Strand, in an industrial area near a golf course.

Spokesperson Kabelo Ledwaba said: "Details are still very sketchy but the helicopter was underway from Cape Town to Somerset West.

"Two people on board were critically injured." 

The two were taken to hospital.

    the one pilot was my uncle.. he is in the medi clinic in milnerton, the moving them to a dif hospital now.. they very badly injured.. but alive..
