Pretoria - The trial of a 24-year-old man allegedly involved in the drive-by shooting of assistant schoolteacher Chanelle Henning was postponed until February 16 by the Pretoria Regional Court on Tuesday.
The postponement was granted for further investigation. Preshan Singh's bail of R5 000, granted in November, was extended.
Two of his co-accused Ambrose Monye, 37, and Andre Gouws, 47, were scheduled to apply for bail later on Tuesday.
Henning was shot while driving in Faerie Glen, Pretoria, moments after dropped off her 5-year old son at the Morning Star Montessori creche.
Two more accused, Gerhadus du Plessis, 34, and Willem Martinus Pieterse, were convicted on December 14 and sentenced to 18 years' imprisonment each, following a plea bargain.
They not only pleaded guilty to the murder, but also to possession of an unlicensed firearm and illegal possession of ammunition.
