Johannesburg - Four men accused of a spate of crimes in Hillcrest, Durban, have appeared in the Pinetown Magistrate's Court, KwaZulu-Natal police said on Friday.

Thabani Zondi and Mfanakhona Mbambo appeared in court on Thursday and Nkosikhona Ndlovu and Sibusiso Ngcobo appeared on Friday, police spokesperson Vincent Mdunge said.

Ndlovu and Ngcobo were due back in court on Monday.

It was not clear when the other two would re-appear.

The four face charges of house robbery and assault.

In one of the crimes, a three-man group attacked and stabbed a man outside his Hillcrest Park home on 2 March.
