Johannesburg - The man who allegedly shot dead four senior managers at Seshego Hospital outside Polokwane had his case postponed on Monday, SABC news said.
Samson Mocheku Tsamago will have his bail application heard in court on November 9.
Tsamago, who was once employed as a driver at the hospital, has been charged with four counts of murder, possession of an unlicensed fire arm and illegal possession of ammunition.
He will remain in custody until his next court appearance.
SABC news said the court room was packed to capacity by families and colleagues of the victims as well as the general public.
Tsamago allegedly killed the hospital's chief executive officer, human resources manager, administration officer and an administration worker last Friday.
He had been at the hospital to pick up his letter of dismissal.
A disciplinary inquiry had found that he had killed someone in a hit-and-run accident in a hospital car, traced to him by a hubcap which fell off at the scene.
