Hostage drama at Pta centre

Johannesburg - A hostage drama unfolded at Themba Shopping Centre outside Pretoria on Sunday when a group of people were held captive by armed robbers, Tshwane Metro Police said.
"Four armed men are believed to be hiding inside a Shoprite Checkers store," said spokesperson William Baloyi.
He said the men entered the store on Sunday and held up staff and customers. Some managed to escape and alerted police.
"Details are still sketchy right now... we don't know exactly how many people are inside, but police are on the job."
Police were still interviewing those who escaped to determine what happened inside the store.
The hostage takers had not made any demands, Baloyi said.
