'I killed your daughter'

Johannesburg - A man allegedly strangled his 19-year-old girlfriend before calling her father to confess, Mpumalanga police said on Sunday.
Ntobeko Kabini apparently became involved in a war of words with her 21-year-old boyfriend in Kwaggafontein Section A on Saturday morning, Inspector Sphiwe Lukhele said.
The girl was from Bundu Inn village, her boyfriend from Moloto village.
"The couple had just woken up at the home of the friend of the boyfriend they were visiting, when the argument started."
The man apparently asked his friend to leave them alone so they could resolve the matter.
"But when his friend left, he apparently killed his girlfriend and fled," Lukhele said.
The friend found Kabini's naked body on the bed when he returned an hour later. The teenager had several bruises on her neck.
The alleged killer then phoned the girl's father, John, 49, at Bundu Inn, and told him he'd killed his daughter.
"[He] also provided John with the direction to the house where he could find the body of his daughter.
A case of murder was opened for investigation. The suspect was still at large.
