Chicago - Incestuous siblings in Texas have been accused of using baby-sitting jobs to produce child pornography, local media reported on Friday.
"It's a sick case," Wise County Sheriff David Walker was quoted as saying by the newspaper The Dallas Morning News.
Police found thousands of images and video clips of child pornography on the computer of truck driver Kevin Riedle, 41, who was living in an incestuous relationship with his half-sister Phyllis Riedle, 48, and her two children, who are now in protective custody, sheriff's officials told the newspaper.
Among the images were photographs of two local children -- an 18-month-old girl who had been sexually assaulted and a seven-year-old girl who was photographed nude. Phyllis Riedle had baby-sat both of the children.
There were also pornographic photos of a 14-year-old female relative.
"This does have pictures of what looks to be 12 to 18-month-olds all the way up to teenagers in various stages of sexual assault," Walker said.
"It is a bad, bad deal. Quite honestly, I hope I and my investigators never have to see anything like this again."
Phyllis Riedle confessed after she turned herself into police on Wednesday on a charge of aggravated sexual assault of a child, Walker told the Dallas newspaper.
Her half-brother was arrested on March 1 after police received a tip that he was using wireless connections at truck stops to download child porn. He remains in jail on four charges of possession and promotion of child pornography.
Police have asked parents whose children came into contact with the pair to contact them but said they believe most of the pictures and videos came from third parties.
