Indictments served on Bronx suspects

Cape Town - High Court indictments were served on Wednesday on four men accused of murdering Bruno Bronn, owner of Cape Town gay night club The Bronx.

John Frederick Coetzer, 36, Fareez Allie, 29, Kurt Erispe, 35 and Achmat Toffa, 35, made their final preliminary appearance in the Cape Town District Court.

They were warned to attend a pre-trial conference at the Western Cape High Court on 14 September.

According to the indictments their trial was to commence on 12 November, and would run until 29 November.

The men face charges of premeditated murder and aggravated armed robbery, both of which carry life sentences.

Bronn was murdered in his Green Point home on 7 February.

    Thus far and no further. Here the courts set the limit. What these people did is wicked and they must be punished.

    Let's hope the State has got its act together. I would ask for very long sentance and no parole.3 big strong guys against one with a disability of one hand. Cowards.
