Jail message for Idol Karin

Cape Town - "Tell Karin I miss her, I love her and she'll remain my woman."
This was 21-year-old Cheslyn Williams's message from behind the bars of a police van to photographers after he appeared in Bellville magistrate's court.
Williams, the former boyfriend of Idols winner Karin Kortje, appeared briefly before magistrate David Tonisi on charges of robbery and the murder of guesthouse owner Renate Kellerman.
Williams appeared in court handcuffed and in leg irons, wearing an orange prison uniform. He looked calmly over his shoulder at his family a few times.
Parole conditions
Prosecutor Zamani Gcelushe said the State would classify the crime as a schedule six case, meaning Williams would have to prove why he should get bail.
"The State will oppose bail."
Williams's Legal Aid Board attorney, Willem Burger, said he was not sure on what parole conditions Williams was released from the Drakenstein Prison on January 27 this year.
Burger said it was unclear if the parole conditions had been rescinded.
"I have been unable to contact the parole official at the prison."
Williams had lived with Kortje and her three-year-old son in Boksburg since his release.
Kortje and Jabu Mlotshwa, a member of her management team, returned to Kellerman's guesthouse in the early hours of July 14.
They found Kellerman's half-naked body in a bedroom.
Kellerman's white Isuzu bakkie had been stolen, but it was found later, abandoned in Eerste River.
Her cellphone and other possessions were found when Williams was arrested in the suburb late that evening.
Covered her head with jersey
When the media tried to talk to Does Williams, Cheslyn's mother, she refused to answer questions and left the court building with a jersey covering her head.
"I want fuck-all to do with you. Voertsek!
"Why do you want to talk to me? You were in the courtroom," she said.
The case was postponed to August 8 for a formal bail application.
