Johannesburg - About 10 robbers stole jewellery from a shop at the Cradlestone Mall near Krugersdorp, west of Johannesburg on Sunday, Gauteng police said.

At about 09:30 two robbers entered the shop and pointed guns at the staff, Captain Tsekiso Mofokeng said.

He said while the staff were held at gunpoint, other robbers came in the shop and took all the jewellery.

The robbers drove off in a Mercedes-Benz and a BMW.

Police were investigating a case of business robbery.

No arrests had been made.

Emergency services ER24 said they were called to the scene at the recently opened mall at the corner of Hendrik Potgieter and the R28 but found nobody had been physically injured.
