Johannesburg testing grounds to close early

2011-12-22 19:03

Johannesburg - All testing stations and licensing offices in Johannesburg will close early on December 24 and December 30, Johannesburg metro police said on Thursday.

"Our experience has shown us in the past that it will become really quiet, so it doesn't pay to have staff there. Therefore we will close at noon," Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.

These stations and offices include Midrand, Randburg, Roodepoort, Marlboro, Martindale and Langlaagte.

Normal hours would resume on Wednesday, December 28 after the long weekend, and on January 3.
