Cape Town – The fraud and defeating the ends of justice charges brought against Sunday Times journalist Mzilikazi Wa Afrika have been thrown out of court, reported TimesLive.

The Kwa Bokweni court prosecutor has declined to prosecute Wa Afrika, saying he has no case to answer, said the report.

However the Hawks police unit is refusing to release him.

This is in spite of the fact that Kwa Bokweni prosecutor has declined to prosecute him on the grounds that he has no case to answer.

Sunday Times lawyer Eric van den Berg said they were currently discussing their next move.
