Pretoria - A High Court judge said on Monday night he had reached the end of his tether with the minister of home affairs regarding the deportation of a Pakistani national.
He ordered Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula to immediately furnish information about the deportation of Khalid Mahmood Rashid.
Judge Poswa ordered the minister to comply with his earlier order to supply all the details of Rashid's deportation.
The information requested included the flight number and the name of the airport to which Rashid was deported.
He gave the minister until midday on Tuesday to follow through with his orders.
Rashid has been missing since November. Home affairs said that it deported him to Pakistan.
Rashid's family expressed concerns, however, that he was taken to an international detention camp.
