2012-01-03 22:32

Durban - Fifty suspected sexual offenders have been arrested in various parts of KwaZulu-Natal during simultaneous raids, police said on Tuesday.

"Forty-one of the arrested suspects were wanted for rape, one for attempted rape, six for sexual assault and two for domestic violence," Colonel Jay Naicker said.

The arrests were made on Thursday and Friday last week.

All suspects will be charged at the stations where the cases were reported and are expected to appear in court this week.

Send them to prison, then throw away the keys. By time the police to some 'Preventative Policing'.

lets hope that they drop the soap

Prison is not good enough for these rapists. There is a Law in The Holy Scriptures: They should be flogged in public with 100 or 200 stripes. But Our government is not in favor of the Laws Of God.

      Craig - 2012-01-04 07:18

After the 100 or 200 "stripes" then what?

      Truthis - 2012-01-04 07:50

      And adulterers should be stoned.

      Truthis - 2012-01-04 07:55

Would these laws only apply to people who believe in your "god"?

Charmaine, sinking to the depravity of physical violence is called revenge not justice. Revenge creates anger and humiliation. These emotions are more likely to result in further violence not acceptance of responsibility and punishment. Much like children raised in violent homes are more likely to be violent themselves. The more important point here is how long did the police know about these criminals before they decided to act. Seems unlikely that they discovered their location on one day.

Why not do the same to the hundreds of whores walking the streets !!!! They are just as guilty as the rest !!

      Truthis - 2012-01-04 08:08

      Guilty of what? Raping people?

      Craig - 2012-01-04 08:24

      A rather daft comment.

      Squeegee - 2012-01-04 08:38

      Troll!!

      afroduckk - 2012-01-04 09:12

@Daft, I bet you would change your tune if these idiots did it any of your family.

A very suspect story. All arrests at the same time. If SAPS knew of an offender some time ago, and that person maybe rapes again in the mean time then SAPS take some responsibility for the crime as well. This is a political ploy, nothing else.
