KZN taxi crash injures 11

Johannesburg - Eleven people were injured when two taxis collided on Georgedale Road in Hammersdale in KwaZulu-Natal on Saturday morning, paramedics said.

One of the taxis crashed into the rear of the other one at about 06:30, Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said.

A man was trapped in the wreckage at the back of the taxi. The Jaws-of-Life was used to free him.

The man was taken by helicopter to the Nkosi Albert Luthuli hospital.

The other 10 injured were taken to another nearby hospital.

      Me...usualy 2 taxis combined are 36+ people. Anyone detained?....no that already is not suprise.
