Khumalo: More girls tell

Johannesburg - The alleged raging sexual appetites of the man accused of being South Africa's worst serial child rapist were highlighted again in the Johannesburg High Court on Tuesday when two pre-puberty girls identified Fanwell Khumalo as their rapist.
The girls testified that they had been on their way to shops when Khumalo, who is a chef, allegedly stopped them, asked for directions, abducted them and raped them.
Khumalo has denied all 132 charges, including 42 of rape. He is claiming mistaken identity.
On Monday two cousins testified that Khumalo had posed as a police officer before raping them twice and forcing them to indulge in other sexual activities.
One of the cousins broke down in the witness box, saying she had tried to commit suicide following the rape and that it would have been far better if she had been murdered instead of raped.
State advocate Marile van Heerden will be calling on three more witnesses on Wednesday to testify and is expected to have completed leading her child witnesses by early next week.
The hearing continues.
