Klerksdorp man stabbed, dies

Johannesburg - A 27-year-old man was stabbed to death in
Klerksdorp, North West police said on Monday.
Police spokesperson Amanda Funani said the man was
stabbed on Sunday night.
"The deceased and the suspect had an argument, when
the suspect allegedly took a knife and stabbed the deceased in the chest."
She said a 27-year-old man had been arrested for murder.
"The suspect was also injured during the alleged
incident, and was admitted to a local hospital under police guard."
In a separate incident an 18-year-old youth was arrested
in Ikageng, near Potchefstroom, for a business robbery.
Funani said the youth and three others allegedly
threatened and assaulted workers at a tuckshop before stealing cellphones and
prepaid airtime vouchers to an estimated value of R3 500.
