Kotze’s ex doing motivational talks

2012-03-05 11:03
Johannesburg - Modimolle resident Ina Bonnette, who was allegedly assaulted by her estranged husband Johan Kotze earlier this year, has started doing motivational talks, according to a report on Monday.

"I'm very booked up, and very motivated," she told Beeld newspaper.

Bonnette, 42, was allegedly tied up and raped in Kotze's home, on January 3, by three men who were hired by her estranged husband.

After being gang-raped, he allegedly tortured and mutilated her, before allegedly shooting dead her 19-year-old son, Conrad.

Bonnette delivered her first motivational talk at a music festival outside the Limpopo town of Modimolle, which was organised by one of her friends to collect the approximately R65 000 she needed for several reconstructive surgery procedures.

Bonnette will give at least three other motivational talks this year, in Pretoria, Randburg and George.

Kotze is due to appear in court again on May 11.
