Skukuza - The Kruger National Park (KNP) wants to sell elephant hides and other by-products from its storeroom.
Park spokesperson Raymond Travers said the products were collected over a number of years from the carcasses of elephants that died of natural causes or had to be killed after going rogue.
"There's quite a bit in storage. There are hides, nails and feet," Travers said.
South African National Parks (SANParks), which manages the park, is calling for tenders from individuals interested in buying the dry, salted elephant hides and by-products.
He said a compulsory site inspection would be held on March 6.
