'Licence dealer' gets four years

Thohoyandou - A traffic official convicted of selling code-10 drivers licences was sentenced to four years imprisonment by the Thohoyandou regional court on Wednesday, police said.
Peter Tshisaphiri Tshabuse, who was a provincial traffic inspector at Sibasa traffic testing station in Thohoyandou, was arrested in 1997, said police spokesperson Ailwei Mushavhanamadi.
Mushavhanamadi said Tshabuse continued to work as a traffic inspector while awaiting trial.
