Johannesburg - Six teenagers accused of killing three
other children in Mookgopong, Limpopo, appeared in the town's magistrate's
court on Thursday, police said.
The matter was postponed to 3 January 2013, police
spokesperson Hangwane Mulaudzi said.
The youths would be kept at a place of safety.
The six, aged between 12 and 14, are accused of killing
brothers Bafana Kekana, 9, Hosea Richard Kekana, 10, and their cousin Johanna
Kekana, 12, in August.
They were stoned to death. Johanna was raped before she
was killed.
The Kekanas lived at the Montadi Youth Care Centre.
The arrested boys apparently lived in the same area.
Police believed five of the accused youths were living on
the streets, while the other was attending school.
