London flight stowaway still unidentified

2012-09-05 20:21

Johannesburg - The body of a man found on a British Airways flight at London's Heathrow airport last month is yet to be identified, police said on Wednesday.

Captain Dennis Adriao said the body of the man, last seen climbing over the Cape Town International airport's fence, was expected back in South Africa soon.

"It still has not yet been identified and we are working closely with Interpol on the matter."

Last month, Airports Company SA (Acsa) said the man ran towards a runway where a British Airways aircraft was in its holding position, ready for take-off.

Security guards who saw the man said they could not approach the aircraft because of security reasons.

I might have helped if we knew more about the person, like ethnic group, sex, high body mass.
