Johannesburg - Public protector Thuli Madonsela will respond to the ANC’s demand that her office release the full report into the Nkandla upgrade, Eyewitness News reported.

The protector's office tweeted on Wednesday morning that the briefing will be at 14:00 at Zebra Lodge near Pretoria.

"The purpose of the briefing is for the Public Protector to respond to allegations levelled against her," Madonsela's office tweeted.

At a media briefing on Tuesday, the party accused Madonsela of leaking the report to the Mail & Guardian.

He said the ANC was worried about the leakage of extracts of the provisional report, and this created a dangerous trend, as the debate was not based on the final report.
