Pretoria - The case against a 24-year-old Johannesburg man charged in connection with the murder of Centurion woman Tertia Steenkamp was postponed in the Pretoria District Court on Tuesday to next week for further investigation.
Magistrate Mpho Monyemore also granted the postponement to next Tuesday to give Clifford Conradie time to apply to the Legal Aid Board.
An unshaven and nervous-looking Conradie, who was arrested on Sunday, was not asked to plead during his brief court appearance.
Steenkamp's body was found on a game farm near Rustenburg on Sunday morning. She allegedly disappeared from her luxury Centurion home on January 19.
Earlier reports suggested that her murder was a Portuguese mafia hit.
