Mbombela - South Africans can expect an ANC election manifesto that prioritises economic transformation, Free State Premier Ace Magashule said on Friday.

"Moving forward, fellow South Africans can expect economic transformation out of this, that is what we have committed ourselves to," Magashule said on the sidelines of an African National Congress dinner in Mbombela, Mpumalanga.

The ANC will officially launch its election manifesto on Saturday.

There would be no economic transformation without education, said Magashule.

"The Mandela generation have finished their 12 years of schooling. They have passed and have done well.

"It means we have achieved a lot, and we still have to accelerate and prioritise education," he said.
