Letaba Hospital is not in Polokwane. it is in Nkowankowa near Tzaneen

      Oldbuck - 2011-09-14 16:54

six of one half a dozen of the other

      Hercules - 2011-09-15 09:14

@Oldbuck: I live in Polokwane, so according to your reasoning, I can put up my address as Pretoria?

  • Grayman - 2011-09-14 14:40

Gees! Geography certainly didn't feature too well in the reporter's schooling. Letaba Hospital is 80km away from Polokwane. But they are both in Limpopo Province so I guess that counts for something.

      daaivark - 2011-09-14 14:51

Nothing seems to be a serious feature in the training of News24 reporters. Today has really been a feast of pathetic journalistic blunders.

      Francois - 2011-09-14 16:18

If you knew a bit about the things you are commenting on ... like say "journalism" ... you would know that the First word usually a location, refers to the closest editorial office of said newspaper. Not the actual place the story occured. Do some research instead of just blasting away on your keyboards

      Tonsil - 2011-09-14 16:27

@Francois Read the article again "A male nurse has been arrested for raping a mentally-ill patient in Polokwane, Limpopo police said on Wednesday." It has nothing to do with an editorial office as you claim.

      Francois - 2011-09-14 16:48

Yes ... he was arrested in Polokwane on Wednesday, The patient was raped in the Hospital on Tuesday. That is some impressive work by our Police. One day later. It does not say that he was arrested at the hospital now does it? Would you go back to work after being caught raping the office secretary the day before?

      ttrevenen - 2011-09-15 00:51

Does the geography really matter? The incident happend in South Africa - is that not bad enough? Semantics? You should sig deep and see how shallow you are... SAD ;(((

  • Nepster10 - 2011-09-14 14:40

      Ehleketani - 2011-09-14 14:45

@ Nepster, theres no Ocean in Limpopo, they should just lock him up and throw it @ Ritavi river.

Why would you blame this on Malema? Hasn't he had enough press coverage? The more we reogonise and critise him the more popular he becomes... Stick to reality and the crimes he really has "allegedly" committed.
