Man arrested for drugs in home

Cape Town - A man has been arrested for possession of 500 Mandrax tablets at his Mitchells Plain home, Western Cape police said on Sunday.

Lieutenant-Colonel Andre Traut said the 36-year-old man's house in Westridge was searched on Saturday afternoon.

The tablets, with an estimated street value of R25 000, were found hidden in a bedroom.

The man would appear soon in the Mitchells Plain Magistrate's Court.

    ive seen people use that stuff, its a horrible sight. 3 or 4 guys sitting around a bucket with newspaper under it. all leaning over the bucket, bumping heads as they drool into the bucket at the same time. it looks like they loose 90% brain function during the main effect of the drug. 10% to keep them breathing etc and bearly up & over the bucket. really pathetic to see. i pushed them over. took them like 1 or 2 minutes to repond and realise they fell over.

    Government must implement new rules. This drug dealers are the causative factor in destroying youth future. They must face law.
