Man, child die in plane crash

Johannesburg - A five-year-old boy and a man were killed in a plane crash on Saturday in Cullinan near Pretoria, said the Tshwane emergency services.
The crash happened just before 14:00 today (Saturday) on the Moloto road near Cullinan 25k from Zambezi said emergency services spokesperson Johan Pieterse.
"There is a landing strip there near where they do mining (in Cullian)...we are not sure if the plane was to take off or land, but something went wrong and the plane crashed and caught fire,
"The pilot managed to escape with severe burns and was transported to the Eugene Marais hospital (in Pretoria)," he said.
The co-pilot and a child died on the scene and were burnt beyond recognition.
Netcare paramedics arrived first at the crash site and called emergency services to put out the fire.
"We handed the scene to police, and they and the Civil Aviation authority will investigate further."
